Tributes 2026
Sydney Snyder
In loving memory of our sweet girl Sydney
12/10/10 – 10/12/26.
She was the sweetest girl. We could not have asked for a better dog, she was so shy and afraid of everything and never barked. Her favorite thing to do was lay around. She loved camping and would lay on the back of the couch and look out the window. My heart is broken but I know my mom was there to welcome her home. We will forever love and miss you Sydney girl❤️
Nikki Dettinger
April 2011 – September 2026
On September 29th(2026) we said goodbye to Nikko, a truly special member of our family and a loyal companion for more than 15 years. Nikko gave us a lifetime of unconditional love, companionship, laughter, and memories. He was always there—through the good days, the difficult ones, and all of the ordinary moments in between that now mean so much more. Anyone who has loved a dog knows they are never “just a pet.” They become part of your family, part of your daily routine, and eventually, part of who you are. After more than 15 years, it is incredibly difficult to imagine life without seeing that face, those ears, and those beautiful eyes looking back at us. We were incredibly fortunate to have Nikko for as long as we did, but no amount of time ever feels like enough. Thank you, Nikko, for more than 15 years of loyalty, love, and unforgettable memories. You were deeply loved, you will be deeply missed, and you will always have a place in our hearts. Rest easy, Nikko. 🐾❤️
Bootsy Tokach
In memory of Bootsy,
(9/2/2020-9/21/2026).
She was my very very special baby girl, who just turned 6 years old on September 2, 2026. She was taken from me way too soon due to being diagnosed in July with lymphoma. I will miss her immensely! Her intelligent little self with those “Bootsy Eyes” made her the sweetest girl I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. You knew she was up to something or had thoughts going through her mind, if she gave you this look. One, at the same time, that just melted your heart. From being a little girl at 12 weeks old when I adopted her, she was playful and rambunctious, one who gained the closeness and love of her much older brother, Butterscotch, (who was 13 years older than her). They became two peas in a pod and loved each other dearly. I knew she was the smartest baby I had ever had when, at just kitten age, she figured out how to escape a playpen that I used at night (during the time of adjustment with her and the older boy). She was able to unzip the doors to the playpen. I called her my “little whoodini.” Her intelligence progressed when she began opening cabinet doors like a little human, standing on her back feet, placing one paw against the cabinet, and putting her other paw in the cabinet handle just like a person, and voilá, she opened the door. Bootsy was mommy’s girl. She loved being on my lap or lying between my legs while while I was under the bed covers. All I had to do was call her, Bootsy Cakes, Sweetie Peas, Bootsy Boots, and she came running to be on mommy’s lap. Once she was there, before she got comfortable, mom endured endless kneading on her legs or stomach. Then, Bootsy would lay comfortably down and would sit there as content as she could be until I had to move. My baby girl’s hiding acts sent me through dismay at times because she could quietly leave a room and you would have to search the entire house to find her. When she was just enjoying the day or relaxing, she was like a precious jewel to me….always curled up with her front paws together like she was praying. As a kitten, she started laying on me up under my chin when I would lie down. That habit disappeared for a bit but then as she got older, she started doing it again. I just loved when she did this; it showed me, in addition to many other things, that she loved and trusted me so much! My heart is forever broken and she will never be forgotten! Mom loves you more than you know baby girl. May your little soul rest in peace and be free of any hurt or pain. You have touched my heart like no other! Love you Sweetie Peas!

Eve
8/10/2018-9/10/2026
I never expected the dog I got on Halloween at 20 years old, in the middle of nursing school, would have such a profound impact on the rest of my life. My world came to a halt on May 29th when we found out that she was in kidney failure. We were lucky enough to get three more good months before I had to say goodbye. Her puppy years were difficult and tested my patience and sanity, but I would do it all over again if it meant I got to spend your life spoiling you. Eve was such a caring gentle giant with the sweetest soul that made anyone who met her fall in love with her. You could always find her by my side, day or night, always making sure she clocked into work with me and did not allow me to forget when it was feeding time. She always knew what I needed before I needed it. She is the reason I got out of bed and kept going on my hard days. She was my best friend, my therapist, the one I’d cry to, she was there witness many heartaches and lovingly lick away my tears, she sat with me during family health scares, and listened to my problems and any song I made up about her. When our older dog started declining, Eve became more gentle and calm around her so she wouldn’t hurt her. When our younger dog got sick as a puppy, Eve gave up her bed so she could be comfortable. Thank you for the best 8 years of my life, I wish we had more. I miss you my sweet girl, I will always miss you, part of me is missing with you gone. I hope you’re laying in sun, eating grass, and that Pandora is keeping you company. Until I see you again. I love you forever.
Molly Harris
Molly gave us 14 sweet years. She became part of our family at 5 weeks old. She was such a good girl and the whole family just loved her. She was everyone’s girl, grandparents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, etc., loved by all. She loved walks, car rides and sunbathing. Her favorite season was summer when she could soak up the warmth and sunshine, a summer girl! Molly loved playing with her boys (our sons) who were just little when she came into our family and are now teens. She grew up along with them. She slept between their rooms every night, all the way until the end. She made us laugh and gave the best doggie kisses. We miss her deeply and will always carry her in our hearts.
06/15/2012-09/03/2026
Forever our Molly girl ❤️
Oliver Luckenbaugh
April 7, 2011-August 20, 2026
Oliver was a member of our family for 15 years and during that time he brought us lots of joy and laughter. Oliver was a very happy dachshund. He had a way of guilting you into giving him whatever he wanted with his “woe-is-me” look. We nicknamed him Eeyore because no one does the “woe-is-me” look better than him.” Oliver had a true passion for toys. It didn’t matter what the toy was he loved them all, often hiding them from his siblings. Nothing beat a good belly rub for Oliver. It was his ultimate comfort, turning him into a completely relaxed pup the moment you started scratching his belly, he couldn’t get enough. Oliver enjoyed neighborhood walks, taking time to stop and smell all the flowers. Oliver wasn’t just a great companion; he was also a father to four beautiful puppies, leaving behind a wonderful legacy and a piece of his loving spirit.
Jack Hamberger
In Loving Memory Jack Hamberger
4/2011 to 7/16/2026.
Rest in peace our sweet angel. We rescued you at 7 months old and stole our hearts right away our sweet ginger boy. Your purrs were so loud when I first held you and we knew right away you were ours forever. Those purrs were so soothing and helped me through sad times. You were definitely a loner cat that only tolerated your siblings but was a total momma’s boy though. I was your person for sure. I miss the old days where you would play chase with me at the old house. You loved your favorite orange mouse and the fishing pole toy with a mouse on the string. As soon as you would see/hear them you went nuts. I am glad I could have you at home holding you while you passed as I did with your siblings Leo and Piper. I know you are at peace with Jesus now and no longer suffering. Hopefully you are more tolerant of your siblings now in heaven. Until we meet again in heaven our sweet angel. We love you to the moon and back Jack. Always and forever your Momcat and Dad.
Hawkeye McNew
Born June 8, 2012
Sent to Heaven July 27, 2026
Hawkeye loved car rides with the window open but not as much as riding on the boat and even occasionally a jet ski. He was obviously a pirate in another life. He was an amazing volleyball player which we called Bop, loved a good slipper or flip flop, loved bacon, frozen peas and ice cream. Hawkeye lived life like a king; sleeping in a king size bed with his family, he even had a pretentious attitude towards his two rescue dog brothers. His err of superiority and casual aloofness made him the cool dog you wanted to hang out with. He loved being scratched for hours and hours and would bat at you if you tried to stop scratching. He loved to sleep in very late like a teenager. Hawkeye’s family is gutted and devastated with his passing but are grateful to know he’s laying on grandpa’s lap in his recliner taking a good nap and waiting for us at the rainbow bridge.
Frankie Schmidt
April 19, 2008 – July 13, 2026
Frankie, aka, Our Little Man…..the time has come that we have said our last goodbyes to you. You have been such a wonderful member of our family since we brought you home at 8 weeks old. You were never the brightest crayon in the box, maybe that is what made you all the more lovable. You had the sweetest and best happy go lucky disposition You loved everyone, making sure that everyone would give you belly rubs. You would just immediately roll over onto your back and wait. You never could jump up on the furniture like your siblings but loved when you were picked up and able to cuddle with one of us. You always did so well in the car too, just would chill out, never made a sound and enjoyed the ride. How you loved the smell of cinnamon….that always got you going, enough to actually snatch a cinnamon doughnut off a plate that was left unattended on the coffee table for just a moment. You were certainly in your glory with that find! Whenever you saw a ball, didn’t matter what kind or size, you would wag your tail wildly and you would start to bark. How you loved chasing a ball around the yard, to the point where you would totally exhaust yourself and we had to take the ball away from you. It was hard to pick up after you had slobbered all over it. LOL. You didn’t care where that ball would go, you just kept chasing it and trampled through our gardens without a care. We learned to keep an eye on you and the ball too. There was that time we left you alone and the ball rolled into the flower garden and when we came out to check on you, you had managed to pull our flowers out while trying to get the ball. Too bad you left the weeds behind! As you reached your golden years and your eyesight was very poor you still would perk up at the sight of a ball but you just didn’t have the energy to chase it anymore. Now you can romp and play once again, enjoying the time chasing a ball as you cross the Rainbow Bridge into the beauty of green meadows and sunshine. Maggie will be waiting to welcome you. We love you and will miss you so much! Goodbye Little Man.

Jax Boyer
11/17/16 – 7/30/26
He loved going bye-byes in car for pup cups. He knew the rustle of any bag meant snacks were on the way. We’ll always remember the daily tug of war battle with his fur brother Cooper and that he was the best triangle snuggler ever.
Lola Hartz
Reaching out because we are deeply missing our 20-year-old girl, who would have been 21 this November(2026). She was such a beauty, and you could only rub her ears and chin. She loved being on the deck in the sun. We are missing Miss Lola so much.
Riley Myers
In loving memory of my best friend Riley.
4/29/2009-6/29/2026
When Riley looked at you, you could tell he was looking straight into your soul. He was the most loving, intelligent and energetic dog. He could spin in circles and catch tennis balls for hours and he loved going on the boat and chasing balls in the water. I hope you have found Grandpa and are curled around his feet. Your our passing has left a hole in our hearts..
Bella Bobak
Bella
11/3/2013 – 03/03/2026
We found Bella on RescueMe.org. She located in Ohio. So we loaded up our other Newfie and drove to Ohio to have a meet and greet. Bella was listed as a 3 1/2 year old Newfoundland, but upon arrival she looked like an underfed lab. We immediately decided we were bringing her home- we would make it work. We believe Bella was a puppy mill dog but we loved her all the more. Her minimal prior vet records had three different birthdays listed so we chose Nov 3. We put some weight on her, taught her to potty in the yard and had her spayed. We showered her with a life of love and care. Bella followed her siblings footsteps and became a certified Therapy Dog. Bella visited many places and shared her slobber and kisses with all the new people she met. Bella loved to bark at the squirrels, the wind and my scarecrow. We laughingly said she was either singing or just liked to hear herself talking. And Snore- oh my- Bella could rattle the windows. I know we rescued Bella but I’m pretty sure she rescued us as well. We miss her antics, the snoring, the barking and her nig fluffer butt. We love you and you will remain in our hearts forever. Until we meet again, know the “I Loved You Best”
Zyra Swanger
In loving memory of our sweet, baby, angel girl, Zyra.
9/29/2012 – 6/18/2026.
Our big girl was the most energetic, gentle pup who loved everyone she met. She lived for playing outside with her plastic egg, playing inside with her balls, splashing in her pool, and manipulating her humans into giving her treats and bites of meals. Despite limited mobility in her later years, Zyra continued to keep up her upbeat temperament and love for activity. She performed her job of following and making sure mom, her soulmate, was ok, until the end. The love of a dog is one of life’s greatest gifts. It is pure, constant, and asks for so little in return. Everyone says they had the best dog, but when you’ve had “that” dog, it hits so much differently. They’re your soulmate, heart dog, favorite, once in a lifetime companion. The loss of them leaves a space in your heart that can never be filled in quite the same way. Zyra, you filled our home with so much happiness, laughter, and unconditional love. We are eternally grateful for the 14 wonderful years we were blessed to have with you. You made our lives infinitely better with your presence. You will always be loved, missed and be a part of us. We know you are now in a better place, running free with new back legs and waiting for us to meet again.

Our sweet baby girl crossed the rainbow bridge on 6/22/26. She was her sweet, happy self until the very end. We were blessed with 16+ years with her unconditional love. She loved everyone especially children. She enjoyed opening Christmas presents, snuggling on the couch, and collecting the cheese tax. She is greatly missed. We love you baby girl!
Shadow Walker
In loving memory of Shadow
♥️ Shadow “poopiedoo” October 31st 2007- June 26th 2026 Shadow there are no words that could do justice to describe what a beautiful, wonderful baby boy you have been. You are my heart and soul and the best companion I’ve ever had. 18 1/2 years was not long enough and I didn’t want to let you go, I was blessed to have had these years with you. I cannot thank you enough for loving me unconditionally, for being the absolute best companion, protector snd snuggler ever! It’s only been couple of days since we said goodbye and My heart is broken but as I promised you while holding you as you took your last breath, momma will be ok and I will love you forever. I pray you have been reunited with our beautiful girl Sky (deceased 2024) and the two of you are back together running free to your hearts content, illness and pain free. Until we meet again my precious boy. ♥️
Bear Buffington
Bear
September 22, 2015 -June 23, 2026
Bear has been a loving member of our family since Nov 2015. She chose us unexpectedly but quickly became our world. She quickly became a momma’s girl and never left my side. She was the biggest cuddle bug and lap dog, even though she quickly grew into an 80+ lb dog. She was a gentle giant and wouldn’t hurt a fly, which is how she got one of her nicknames Big Girl. She was our first baby. She was a constant pillow and best friend to our entire family, including our second dog Daisy. The house is less chaotic and more quiet without her here. We will forever miss our Baby Bear.

It’s been a week without you.
My heart has split in two.
The love you gave I thank you for,
will bless forever more.
I know that this is not the end.
No, not the end at all.
Rest easy faithful friend,
and be listening for my call.
Until we meet again.
Marvin Ash
Marvin
April 2005 – June 2026
Marvin was more than a cat to me. He was my daily partner, my shadow, a full participant in my work day as my office co worker. He was a constant comforting presence for 21 years. From the moment I woke up, turning the gap under the bathroom door with his favorite mouse to a morning hockey rink, through his lunchtime bisque break all the way until he escorted me to the kitchen for his bedtime treat. His memory is a beautiful snapshot of his spirit – a little rebellious, incredibly loved, an absolute joy, a true character and completely unforgettable. Forever Loved.
Izzy Otto
Izzy 2015-2026
Izzy came to the family as a kitty in Germany in 2015. She made the move to PA in 2018 and was the first pet for my son. She will be missed.
Roscoe Duck
In honor of our Sweet boy Roscoe
You gave us your whole heart, Roscoe—and we’ll carry it with us forever. He gave us a love that was pure, loyal, and constant. He made the good days brighter and the hard days easier, just by being there. And even though our time with him feels far too short, we were lucky to have every moment. But knowing you’re back with your brother brings us peace. Run free, boys. You are deeply loved and dearly missed.

Sadie Snyder
Sadie
April 30, 2015 – March 19, 2026
Sadie crossed the Rainbow Bridge on March 19, 2026 surrounded by her mommy, daddy, big sissy , little sissy and her Christopher. Sadie was the center of our world. Sadie was born April 30, 2015. We were looking so forward to celebrating her birthday with lots of ice cream. We hope she is getting all the ice cream she could ever want now and playing with her baby(stuffed lobster roll toy). Sadie loved snuggles under a blanket and loved to squeeze herself in between anyone who was sitting together on the couch. She had the most toys any doggie could want. We love you Sadie, the house is quiet, the bed has a lot more room. I’m not sure how our hearts heal from this. All we can hope is that we get to be together again someday. Love you Boopy
Karly Morgan
Karly was born on 2/4/2010 and rescued & adopted 12-weeks later by Tracy, Laura and Michael. She lived for over 16 years, until 3/2/2026. She quickly became the most loyal companion buddy to me – we saved each other! She was my daily focus – we walked everyday and spent every meal together. She was stubborn, sassy and loved to bark for her cookies. She loved the outdoors no matter the weather. Karly, thank you for being my constant shadow – if you weren’t under my feet, your eyes were locked on me. I could not have loved you anymore than I did, and I always will. I know you stayed as long as you did, for me, but I want you to run now! Run Karly, run!
